Your audience sits through a lot of presentations. Slides, speeches, showreels — they blur together. A live sand art performance does the opposite: it stops the room. Watching a brand story, a product, or a company's journey appear by hand in real time creates a moment of genuine attention that no slide deck can buy. I have created these moments for brands at Harrods, for the University of Oxford, and for civic leaders at Manchester Hall.
Corporate events have different needs depending on the moment. I offer two distinct formats — choose one, or combine both across a single event for maximum impact.
A bespoke 8 to 12 minute narrative, designed in advance around your brand, product, campaign or milestone, and performed live on a large screen during the key moment of your event. Ideal for product launches, award ceremonies, anniversaries and gala dinners. Can be repeated two or three times across a long event.
I perform continuously at my sand table in a high-traffic area. Guests gather, watch new imagery form, have their names or company initials drawn in sand, and leave with a photograph. Ideal for receptions, networking events, exhibition stands and brand activations where you want sustained engagement.
Sand is a surprisingly versatile medium for brand storytelling. In a single flowing performance I can render:
Everything is choreographed to music — yours, or a piece I suggest — and I work directly with your brand or events team to keep the tone, pacing and reveal aligned with your run of show.
| Business goal | How sand art delivers |
|---|---|
| Memorability | A live, handmade performance is a pattern interrupt. It is the thing guests photograph, post, and describe to colleagues afterwards. |
| Brand storytelling | Abstract company values become a concrete, emotional visual narrative the audience actually feels. |
| Social content | The performance is inherently shareable. Guests film it; the recording becomes content for your own channels. |
| Prestige | Live bespoke art signals investment and care. It elevates the perceived value of the whole event. |
Over fifteen years I have performed for a wide range of corporate and institutional clients, including:
I bring everything needed to perform: a professional light table, an overhead camera, and high-quality projection equipment if your venue does not provide it. Setup takes 60 to 90 minutes. The performance space needs dimmed lighting during the show and a clear sightline from your audience to the projection screen. I am fully insured and can provide a technical rider and risk assessment for your venue or AV team.
Corporate engagements start from £400 per hour for ambient interactive work. Bespoke pre-prepared performances are quoted per project, based on length, creative complexity and travel. Every quote includes consultation, creative design, all equipment, rehearsal, and a recording of the performance for your own use.
Tell me your event's goal — a launch, an award, an anniversary, a reception — and I will recommend the format and build a tailored proposal around it.
Yes. I regularly work on confidential launches and am happy to sign a non-disclosure agreement before we discuss product details.
Absolutely. I provide a full technical rider and coordinate directly with your AV and events teams to integrate cleanly into your run of show.
Yes. A professional recording of the performance is included, which you are free to use across your own marketing and social channels.
From an intimate boardroom to a banquet hall of several hundred. For large audiences I use larger or dual projection screens so everyone has a clear view.

Tell me about your event, your audience and your goal. I will reply within 24 hours with a recommended format and a tailored proposal.
